A simple combination of tomatoes, jalapeño, paprika, Tachbisha™ Gourmet Sauce, and gently poached eggs. It’s a nourishing breakfast that the whole family will love.
5 soft tomatoes on the vine, diced large
2 jalapeños, cut into half moons
1 jar of Tachbisha® Mediterranean Gourmet Sauce, Rich and Spreadable
4 tbsp sweet paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Handful of parsley, chopped
In a large skillet, sauté the jalapeños in olive oil until softened.
Add the tomatoes and simmer on a low flame until the tomatoes break down. Steam with the lid closed.
Add the entire jar of Tachbisha® Gourmet Sauce, paprika, and salt, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Using a spoon, make 8 small wells in the sauce and gently crack the eggs into each well.
Add the chopped parsley on top and cook covered on low heat until the eggs are set or done to your liking.
